In a summer of sellout crowds, performing in the heart of downtown Greenville, and demanding the right to dream, Glow Lyric Theatre is ready to give back to Upstate audiences one more time.

On August 5th starting at 7 PM, the Glow Lyric Theatre Gala will take place and feature musical performances by cast members from shows like Hamilton, Waitress, The Color Purple, and many more.

“The After Glow Cabaret is really the culmination of the season- that moment where our cast, crew and Artistic team get a chance to just pick some of our absolute favorites from musicals and opera,” Jeff Levene, Glow Lyric Theatre’s marketing director said. “It’s such an important night for Glow because it’s that final push to get folks invested not just in what we’ve done this past season, but what Glow is getting ready to do next year.”

Each of the cast members has the opportunity to perform a musical number that they personally feel passionate about and the members of Glow’s team are delighted in the results.

“This shows a little more of their individualism as artists,” Sims Hall said. Hall is the Assistant Stage Manager for Glow’s season. “It will be a good last little glimpse of them before they leave Greenville,” Hall said.

On top of seeing performers from all over the east coast, each ticket includes complementary food and cocktails from “The Bakery off Augusta,” “The Cooking Shop,” “Tucano’s Brazilian Grill”, and “Ji-Roz”, and an open wine bar is sure to make the evening a relaxing chance to meet and hear the season’s incredible team of performers.

Audience members will also have a shot at winning silent items including a one night stay at the Aloft hotel in Greenville, special night outs at local restaurants, Craft Axe Throwing, and tickets to shows and events across town like for the Warehouse Theatre and Greenville Drive.

All proceeds from the Gala will go straight toward raising funds for Glow Lyric Theatre’s 9th Season next summer.

Tickets are available now at glowlyric.com/tickets as well as at our box office (864)-558-4569, and tickets booked before August 3rd are at a discounted price of $70 for two tickets.
