Jason Rodriguez (RADAMES: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is a NYC based performer from Hamilton, New Jersey. He graduated from AMDA in 2021 with his BFA in Musical Theatre. He found his passion for music at a young age listening to music in the car but found his passion for performing at the end of high school. He recently featured in In The Heights at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina and in Xanadu at the Eagle Theatre. DeAna Earl (AMNERIS: AIDA) is thrilled to be back for her second season! After debuting in Rock Opera! last summer, she is excited to return to both Glow and yet another rock musical. DeAna has spent the last 13 years performing here in Greenville and beyond, playing various roles such as “Trina” in Falsettos, “Judy” in 9 to 5, “Morticia” in The Addams Family, “Diana” in Lend Me A Tenor, and “Mary Sunshine” in CHICAGO, among others. She has performed in several shows at Flat Rock Playhouse in NC, and she also spent a year traveling the world as a lead singer on the Azamara Quest. DeAna received her contemporary music training with voice teacher Dr. Cheryl Greene, and attended Shenandoah University for her certification in Somatic Voicework, The LoVetri Method ™. She continues to use this method to coach both singers and actors in her private studio. Love and many thanks to Christian, Jenna, and this incredible cast and crew. What a privilege to tell such an important story, and what a joy to perform with with such dedicated and talented people! For Leslie, Anne, and Alicia, with love. 

Shanelle Valerie Woods (ALMA STINNEY: STINNEY) recent performance credits include: the title role in Bizet’s CARMEN, Tituba (THE CRUCIBLE), Ronnie (HAIR), The Judge in the world premiere of STOMPING GROUNDS – a hip-hopera commissioned by The Glimmerglass Festival, Jeanette in the Colour of Music Festival production of L’AMANT ANONYME, and a double feature with Spoleto Festival USA as Kentucky Kate in AFRAM OU LA BELLE SWITA and Annie in PORGY AND BESS. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic regrettably forced the cancellation of 2nd Lady in Mozart’s MAGIC FLUTE and Countess Ceprano in Pucinni’s RIGOLETTO (Opera North), Shanelle recently debuted as Jenny in a digital production of Kurt Weill’s Threepenny Opera with City Lyric Opera, and will sing the role of Alma Stinney in GLOW Lyric Theatre’s southeastern premiere of STINNEY:AN AMERICAN EXECUTION. Shanelle is currently the Education Coordinator for the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and Adjunct Instructor of Voice at New York University.

Khary Wilson, Tenor (GEORGE STINNEY, SR: STINNEY, NUBIAN/MEREB UNDERSTUDY: AIDA) is delighted to be returning Glow for a third season!  He recently performed the Roles of Frederick Douglass in Seneca Falls, Dan Leno in Elizabeth Cree, and Lensky in Eugene Onegin.  Mr. Wilson recently completed his DMA in Vocal Performance/Pedagogy from LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY and looks forward to an amazing summer of singing!!

Gavin E. Rector (GEORGE STINNEY JR: STINNEY) is excited to be making his debut with Glow Lyric Theatre.  His recent credits include the “Newsies Musical” (Newsie/Les understudy), Mauldin Cultural Center; “There’s Hope” (Gavin), Instruments of Praise, North Hills Church; “Christmas 365” (Gav), Younts Center and summer acting camp at SC Children’s Theatre.  Gavin is also a model. He recently made his debut at the 2022 Greenville Fashion Week for Dillards.  Gavin is also a focused student who maintains the A/B Honor Roll while he pursues his passion for acting and music!

Stephen Steffens (JIMMY SMITH: STINNEY, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is thrilled to be making his Glow Lyric Theatre debut this season. Stephen recently sang Don Ramiro with Geneva Light Opera in July of 2021; he also sang Belmonte with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble in October of 2021. In 2020 Stephen performed the Duke in Rigoletto. His 2019 credits include: Nika Magadoff in The Consul; Goro in Madama Butterfly; and the featured tenor soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G and Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ. His 2018 credits include: Belmonte in The abduction from the Seraglio; Leandro in La Cifra; Captain Richard Warrington in Naughty Marietta; Carl Jensen in The Yellow Star; and the featured tenor soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. Stephen recently made his Long Island Opera debut singing Camille in The Merry Widow. He also just made his Maryland Lyric Opera debut singing Kaspar in their December 2016 production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. His other recent credits include Fenton in Falstaff, and Don Ramiro in Cinderella, both with Bronx Opera. Keturah McIntyre (NEHEBKA/AIDA UNDERSTUDY: AIDA) is delighted to be working with Glow Lyric Theatre. Recent/Favorite credits include The Little Mermaid with Claremont Pavilion Dinner Theater and Footloose, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Sister Act, Cabaret, Little Women, and Aida with Grace Arts Live. She has her B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Program Evaluation and Data Analytics from Arizona State University. For the last two years she has been an elementary school teacher for Telesis Preparatory Academy.

Andrew Wannigman (ED WALL: STINNEY, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is excited to be making his debut with Glow Lyric Theatre as Ed Wall in Frances Pollock’s Stinney as well as performing in the Golden Age Broadway Concert. Recent highlights include Danilo in The Merry Widow as a guest artist with Queens College, All is Calm with Opera North, Andrews in the “groundbreaking” (New York Times) world premiere of Stonewall by Iain Bell and Mark Campbell with New York City Opera, Escamillo in Peter Brooks’ abridged Carmen with City Lyric Opera, Marcello in La Bohème with Union Avenue Opera, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly with Long Island Lyric Opera, and Stanley in the New York premiere of Huang Ruo’s Bound with Fresh Squeezed Opera.  Upcoming engagements include Dandini in La Cenerentola with SAS Performing Arts and Albert in Werther with Barn Opera.

Lloyd Reshard (REV. WILLIAMS: STINNEY, AMONASRO: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is delighted to be making his debut with Glow Lyric Theatre.  His 2021-22 performances include Father in Hansel and Gretel with Lyric Opera of the North, Sam in Trouble In Tahiti with Romanza Festivale St. Augustine, Michael in PenArts production of Murder Ballad, Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni with Fargo-Moorhead Opera and Blansac in La scala di seta with Opera Southwest. In 2021, Lloyd performed a dramatic monologue based on the events and story of the exonerated Malcom Alexander for a collaborative video presentation with the Community Remembrance Project of Greenville, SC and Glow Lyric Theatre. He is a veteran of the USMC Reserve and recently served as an Americorps VISTA. Most recently, Lloyd celebrated two premieres of text he contributed for two choral works by composer Sydney Guillaume; ‘This, Too, Shall Pass’ performed by The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay in April and ‘Nou La’ performed by the Phoenix Chamber Choir in May. Danielle Knox (JEAN BINNICKER: STINNEY)  has a varied career in opera, oratorio, and musical theatre.  She has sung leading roles with the Tri-Cities Opera, Ohio Light Opera, Atlanta Lyric Theater, Chamber Opera of Chicago, Light Opera Works, Rochester Lyric Opera, The Carnegie Center, The Know Theater, Glow Lyric Theatre and The Castleton Festival under the baton of Maestro Lorin Maazel. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music and Master’s Degree in Opera from Binghamton University. Currently, Danielle is the Director of Voice and Chair of the Music Department at the Fine Arts Center. She is thrilled to be joining the cast of Stinney: An American Execution.

Emlynn Shoemaker (BARBARA THAMES: STINNEY/FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) made her role debut with Glow as Buttercup in their 2018 production of HMS Pinafore. Some of Ms. Shoemaker’s recent credits include Pirates of Penzance with Cedar Rapids Opera, Roméo et Juliette with Lawrence Opera Theatre, and As One with The University of Kansas. She recently earned her MM in Vocal Performance from The University of Kansas, under the tutelage of the distinguished and prolific mezzo-soprano Joyce Castle. She earned her BA in Music from Presbyterian College, where she studied voice with Glow co-founder Dr. Christian Elser. Ms. Shoemaker is an active mezzo-soprano based in Chicago, singing regularly with Chicago Choral Artists and Chicago Symphony Chorus, and will be seen performing in Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Chicago’s production of Pirates of Penzance as Kate in the spring of 2023.

Miranda Lee (BETTY JUNE BINNICKER: STINNEY, FEATURES SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY, EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE – SWING: AIDA) is thrilled to be returning to Glow! Recent credits include Susan in Company (Forbidden Planet Productions) and Emma Parker in Bonnie & Clyde (Generic Theatre Company), as well as serving as stage manager for two GWUCTAD-affiliated productions in Spring 2022. She is a rising senior at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in theatre and statistics with minors in religion and music. Kaylyn Shelton (MARY EMMA THAMES: STINNEY) is delighted to be making her debut with Glow Lyric Theatre.  Most recent credits includes playing “Gretel” in Converse Universities production of Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck.  She also was a winner of Converse Universities 2021 Young Artist Competition. Kaylyn is a vocal student of Emalie Savoy and is attaining her Bachelors in vocal performance at Converse University.

Mason Montuoro (DEAN CLARKSON: STINNEY) is excited to be making his Glow Lyric Theatre Debut. Recent credits include, Fenton in Verdi’s Falstaff with Lawrence Opera Theatre, Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with Vocal Academy of Ovieto, and Laurie in with the University of Iowa. He is a recipient of an Encouragement Award from the 2020 Metropolitan National Council Auditions & was a National Finalist in the 2019 Hal Leonard Voice Competition. Mason is an active Chicago-based tenor, singing with the Grant Park Music Festival, Chicago Choral Artists, & the St. James Episcopal Church Cathedral Choir. Jordan Scott (JUDGE MATTHEWS/FRANK SPEARMAN: STINNEY) is a young bass-baritone excited to be making his Glow Lyric Theatre debut. He hold’s a bachelors of voice from the College of Charleston. He has sung with a number of choirs as well as recently performing in a production Hansel und Gretel. He is currently working on roles for productions of Die Fledermaus and The Boor while preparing for his master’s auditions.

Wesley Hodges (MEREB: AIDA, ENSEMBLE: STINNEY) is so happy that Glow Lyric Theatre has given him his first opportunity to perform in South Carolina! Having recently graduated with his Master’s in Music Theater from Oklahoma City University, Hodges also attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned degrees in Vocal Performance and Spanish. Some of his recent roles include Billy Bigelow (Carousel), Curtis Jackson (Sister Act), Tiger Brown (The Threepenny Opera), Georg Zirschnitz (Spring Awakening), and Cinderella’s Prince (Into the Woods). He is so excited to join this wonderful company to help share these powerful stories of love, community, and the undeniable injustices of our world. Akasha Nelson (EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE/AMNERIS UNDERSTUDY: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is thrilled to be making her debut with Glow! She was most recently seen as #14 in THE WOLVES (Warehouse Theater) and as Caroline in I AND YOU (Clemson Players). For her role as Caroline, she won the National KCACTF Award for Special Achievement in Individual Performance. Select regional and university credits include: Esmeralda in THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (Younts Center), Hattie in ELLA ENCHANTED (South Carolina Children’s Theatre), and Florence/Understudy Alice in BRIGHT STAR (Clemson Players). Nicky Redd (He/Him/His) (EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE/RADAMES COVER: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is ecstatic to be doing his first show at Glow lyric Theatre! Originally from San Diego, Nicky now resides in NYC, about to begin his Junior year at Marymount Manhattan College. Seth Patterson (EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE/ZOSER UNDERSTUDY: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is thrilled to be joining the Glow Lyric Theatre for their 2022 season!  Seth recently performed in Xanadu the Musical at the Emerald Coast Theatre Company in Sandestin, FL.  Some of his favorite credits include Jamie Wellerstein in The Last Five Years, William Carlisle in Punk Rock, and Dr. Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors.  He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Central Michigan University. Ella Lichatowich (EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE: AIDA, FEATURED SINGER: CLASSIC BROADWAY) is delighted to be making her debut with Glow Lyric Theatre. Recent credits include Shelby in The Spitfire Grill, Orfeo ed Euridice and Dido and Aeneas with DePauw University School of Music. She is a student in Vocal Performance from DePauw University School of Music where she also contributes as a trained pianist to ensembles. Ella is an alumnus of The Fine Arts Center in Greenville, SC.

Lindsey Brakhage (ENSEMBLE/JEAN BINNICKER UNDERSTUDY/FEMALE SWING: STINNEY) was born and raised in Georgia where she completed her undergraduate studies at Piedmont University. Lindsey completed her master’s degree in 2016 from Converse University in Spartanburg, SC. Most recently, she has performed the roles of Erste Dame and Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Countess Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Mrs. Winemiller in Hoiby’s Summer and Smoke. She made her debut at Carnegie Hall in July 2017 and has performed internationally in Germany and Italy. Lindsey was a 2020 Semi-Finalist in the renowned Premiere Opera Foundation + NYIOP Competition, and a District Qualifier for the 2022 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.

Lia Holman (NUBIAN ENSEMBLE/NEHEBKA UNDERSTUDY: AIDA, ENSEMBLE: STINNEY) is a native of Spartanburg SC. Recent: WiLDFLOWER, a new musical by special Tony Award Recipient, Tony and Grammy Award Nominee, Jason Michael Webb (Choir Boy, The Color Purple: 2015 revival, Respect:The Aretha Franklin Story, MJ: The Musical, The Greatest Showman)  Apollo Theater “Apollo Salon Series”/ National Black Theatre, Whitney Houston in The Last Interview: A Whitney Houston Story, Carnegie Hall (Juneteenth Celebration Ensemble), as a guest artist at “The Children’s Museum of New York, and is a Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN) program graduate. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Music, vocal concentration from Claflin University in Orangeburg and received her Master of Music in Classical Voice from New York University in New York, NY.

Colleen Allard-Smith (ENSEMBLE/ALMA STINNEY COVER: STINNEY, NUBIAN ENSEMBLE: AIDA) is excited to be working with Glow Lyric Theater for the first time this summer. She has been involved in the shows Don Giovanni with Furman University, Togetha with the Alliance Theater, and The Amen Corner with Pebblebrook High School. She is a rising sophomore at Furman University and a Vocal Performance major with a focus in Opera studies. She is currently studying with Dr. Grant Knox.

Brandon Graves (ENSEMBLE: STINNEY) is thrilled to be back for another season as Glow’s Festival Manager and is thrilled to be back on the stage in the ensemble of Stinney: An American Execution! This season is also Brandon’s way of saying goodbye to the classroom where he has faithfully served as an educator for the last 11 years and hello to his new adventure in pursuing a degree in Arts Management from Wayne State University starting in September!

Kayleigh Howard (EGYPTIAN ENSEMBLE: AIDA) is beyond thrilled to be making her Glow Lyric Theatre (& professional theatre!) debut.  She is a rising junior at Coastal Carolina University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Her credits for the past year include Honk! (Henrietta) and How I Learned to Drive (Mother). In the future she plans to pursue performance and hopes to move to NYC with her cat, Salem! She wants to thank her friends and family for their constant support and love. She hopes you enjoy the show!
