CABARET
Dazzling. Gritty. Provocative.
Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome… to Cabaret, Kander and Ebb’s legendary musical about British nightclub singer Sally Bowles, American writer Cliff Bradshaw, and the decadence of 1929 Berlin. With mounting fear and uncertainty outside as the Nazi Party solidifies power, the bawdy Emcee lures you into the world of the Kit Kat Club where your troubles are left at the door- or are they? A collision of indulgent celebration and psychological thriller, this multi-Tony winning masterpiece holds an arresting mirror up to a world in danger of repeating its horrific history.

THE HANDMAID’S TALE
Mind-Blowing. Intense. Timely
Behold the story of Offred: one woman of millions stripped of her identity, agency and freedom by an oppressive and theocratic government. In the ultimate act of bravery, defiance and resistance, Offred risks her life to preserve her story and save others from her fate. Based on Margaret Atwood’s twist-filled dystopian novel, A Handmaid’s Tale becomes one of Glow’s most extraordinary productions with an evocative score of traditional opera influenced by minimalism, medieval chant, and gospel.
Composed by Poul Ruders. Libretto by Paul Bentley (based on the novel by Margaret Atwood)
Rated: PG-13
