Facility Information
GLOW Lyric Theatre’s Main Stage performances take place at Centre Stage, a 285-seat regional theater in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC. The theater, located at 501 River Street, is conveniently located within walking distance of Falls Park, shops and restaurant’s in Greenville historic West End.
The venue opened in 1997 and occupies 10,000 square feet within the Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney building. In addition to GLOW Lyric Theatre performances, Centre Stage has its own production season that run from September through August. They also host the Greenville Symphony’s Spotlight Series. In partnership with the Metropolitan Arts Council, Centre Stage has an art gallery that is open to the public.

Food & Beverage
Prior to GLOW Lyric Theatre performances and during intermission, Centre Stage offers concessions for purchase. These items are permitted inside the theatre. Outside food or beverages, however, are not permissible.
Smoking
Centre Stage complies with city of Greenville’s Smoke-Free Ordinance, which prohibits smoking in all public places as well as 10 feet from any entranceway into an enclosed area where smoking is prohibited. We thank you for your understanding.
Camera/Video
The use of camera, audio recording devices and video recording devices is prohibited at all GLOW Lyric Theatre performances. This includes the use of cell phone video or audio recordings. Guest cameras brought to the performance may be checked with Guest Services. You may retrieve your device at the conclusion of the performance.

Accessibility Services
Assistive Listening Devices
For patrons with a hearing impairment, infrared assistive listening devices are available. These devices are distributed on a first come basis unless you reserve a unit at the box office. To reserve a unit, call 877.377.1339. To check out a device, a driver’s license or credit card is required as a deposit. Your identification will be returned to you with the return of the assistive listening device.
Disabled Seating Arrangements
To help make your visit comfortable and enjoyable, please inform your ticket seller at the time of purchase should you desire a wheelchair seating location and companion seating. Centre Stage offers four floor-level seats (A101-A103 and A102-A104) that are armless for easy transfer from a wheelchair. These chairs can also be removed and a wheelchair put in its place.

Parking
There are a variety of choices for parking, from street level parking, parking lots, city garages and parking decks. Some private vendors may charge up to $10, but most parking is $5.
The nearest parking lot is adjacent to where Centre Stage is located (Morgan Stanley Smith Barney building). Parking during events is $5.
Another convenient parking location is The River Street Garage at 414 River Street. Located between Broad and Court streets, the garage is within a 1-minute walk to Center Stage. The city charges $1.50 for the first hour and 50 cents for each additional hour for a max daily rate of $6. Automated pay machines accept cash, credit cards and parking vouchers.
Looking for free parking?
If you don’t mind a 5-minute walk, Richardson Street Garage (66 Richardson Street) and West Washington Street Deck (101 W. Washington St.) offer free parking beginning at 6 p.m. on Fridays for the entire weekend.
