And Still I Rise is a collection of songs, dance and spoken word poetry performed by an entirely African American cast. By featuring personal stories from the cast and the music that inspires them, Glow hopes to spark dialogue and create connection between artist and audience. This production features singers Díana Thompson, Valisa Cooper Smith, Tevin Smith-Hall, Nicholas Hawkins, original compositions by local composer Jon Grier, Dance by Vaughn D. Newman, and original poetry by spoken word artist Ashley Lumpkin.
