Anderson Daniel

Anderson Daniel | Mark
Anderson Daniel is ecstatic to be returning this summer to GLOW. He moved to New York City a year ago to pursue one of his dreams of being a performer. He has performed in many roles including Jesus (Jesus Christ Superstar), Robbie (Wedding Singer), Gabe (Next to Normal), Josh (Big: The Musical), and Ren (Footloose: The Musical). Anderson has also performed in multiple cabarets, including a performance starring Broadway stars Jeremy Jordan, Ashley Spencer, and Sarah Stiles. He is represented by “The MINE” in NYC. He would like to thank GLOW for this opportunity, as well as family, friends, The MINE, and God for their never-ending support and love.

Christopher Manly

Christopher Manly | Roger
Originally from Atlanta and as a recent graduate from Elon University, Christopher (known as “Critter”) is extremely excited to be taking on the role of Roger in RENT. Critter is an Equity Membership Candidate having performed at venues such as North Carolina Theatre and Flat Rock Playhouse. Past roles include “Riff Raff” from the Rocky Horror Show and “Tony” from West Side Story. He is making the plunge into NYC this fall and is ready to chase his dreams. Thank you to Mom and Dad, without whom nothing would be possible, Justin, MT14, and this beautiful RENT family. “No Day But Today”

Christiani Pitts

Christiani Pitts | Mimi Marquez
Christiani Pitts is an articulating senior at The Florida State University in the BFA Music Theatre program. Christiani reins from Atlanta, Georgia and has been acting and performing professionally since age 9. She is excited to join the GLOW Lyric Theatre Company. Christiani’s previous experience includes theatre and film. Theatre credits include the roles of Marta in Company, Pilar in Legally Blond and Aida in Aida. Christiani has just concluded a run as Mrs. Cory in Mary Poppins for the Wagon Wheel Theatre Company in Warsaw, Indiana. Christiani’s film credits include Drum Line and Big Momma’s House 3. Christiani is an accomplished singer and dancer; she is currently in studio working on her second studio EP entitled “21”. In her spare time Christiani enjoys teaching children the art of dance and movement. Christiani credits her love of dance to Mr. Antonio Sisk and her love of acting to Ms. Linda Stevenson (may they both rest in peace). Christiani would like to thank GOD and her family for their love and support throughout her career.

Chad T Dyar

Chad T. Dyar | Benny
Chad T. Dyar is thrilled to be making his third appearance with GLOW after performing in Amahl & the Night Visitors, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He studied voice at Furman University and did his graduate studies at Northwestern University where he was a member of the Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus. An active performer of Opera, Musical Theater, and Oratorio, some of his favorite roles have been Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Belmonte (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Alfredo (La Traviata), Duke (Rigoetto), Tony (Westside Story), and the Evangelist (St. John’s Passion). Some of his most recent roles include Candide (Candide), Matt (The Fantasticks), and Teen Angel (Grease) in Atlanta. Chad is happy to be back home in the Upstate and looking forward to being a part of the theater community here.

Leryn Turlington

Leryn Turlington | Maureen
Leryn Turlington graduated from The Florida State University this May with her Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre. She is from Orlando, Florida and is delighted to join the Glow Lyric Theatre. She is grateful for this opportunity start to her professional career with such an exciting and spunky role in one of her favorite shows. Previous theatre credits include the roles of Ilse in Spring Awakening, Amy in Company and Babe in Crimes of the Heart. Leryn has also had the pleasure of performing in Dr. Andre Thomas’ Gospel Choir while at FSU and has performed as a lead vocalist and stilt walker (though not at the same time) at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. She began studying voice at the age of 14 and later participated in the Orlando Opera Manello High School Vocal Institute and the Boston Conservatory Vocal/Choral Summer Intensive, both on scholarships. Leryn would like to thank her incredible family, friends, teachers, Chris, her senior class and her FSU family near and far for all of their guidance, love, and support.

Anna Sheridan

Anna Sheridan | Joanne
Anna Sheridan (Joanne) is a rising senior at Coastal Carolina University. She is originally from Washington, DC and will be graduating May 2015 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Anna is thrilled to join the the Glow Lyric Theatre Company. Previous credits include the Witch in Into the Woods, Sheila in A Chorus Line, Diana in Lend Me a Tenor, Player in Pippin, Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show, Beggar Woman (u/s) in Sweeney Todd, and Ensemble/Swing in Anything Goes. Anna would like to thank her parents for all of their love and support.

Ross McCorkell

Ross McCorkell | Angel
Ross McCorkell (Angel) is thrilled to be a part of GLOW’s summer festival! You may remember him as Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar. Ross has spent the last seven months sailing through Mexico, Jamaica, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and the Caribbean Islands as a mainstage performer with Norwegian Cruise Line. Past regional credits include Music Theatre of Wichita, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, LOOK Musical Theatre, The Crown Uptown Theatre, and Wichita Grand Opera. Ross has also performed across the world with Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre. BFA Musical Theater, Wichita State University. Thanks to Jenna and Christian for always staying in touch, and to the family for their endless love and support. Cheers

Kiarri Andrews

Kiarri Andrews | Tom Collins
Kiarri Andrews is elated to be joining the GLOW Lyric’s production of RENT in one of his dream roles portraying ‘Tom Collins.’ Past credits include: BUMBUG: THE MUSICAL (Off-Broadway), CATS (‘Mungojerrie’), DREAMGIRLS, HAIR (‘Hud’), SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE (“Adrian”), and most recently A NEW BRAIN as ‘Roger.’ This performance– this experience– is dedicated to my Mother & Aunt Mable – my two angels above, my AMDA crew (esp. Abby & Amanda) who personally know how much this means to me *lol*, and to the cast and crew of this production- we have yet to know one another, and I already love you all. I’m so thankful to share the gift that is this show with all of you 🙂

Kristofer is excited to back with GLOW this summer for RENT. Favorite roles includes; Songs for a New World (Performer); The Producers; Jesus Christ Superstar (Apostle James with GLOW); Annie Get Your Gun(Tommy), Smokey Joes Cafe and Splish Splash (Greenville Little Theatre; Award for Best Supporting Actor); Rock and Roll Forever (Choreographer/Featured Dancer at Centre Stage) and Hairspray (Gilbert); The Fall and decline of the Entire World As Seen Through the Eyes of Cole Porter (New York); Choir Boy as Pharus (New York/London Reading); ; Finding Nemo (Disney World); Andrew Lippa’s Wild Party (Swing, Theatre Zone); The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; Billy, Goat, Gruff -The Musical; Disney’s Mulan Jr. (SCCT).

Sydney

Sydney Childs | Ensemble
Sydney is thrilled to be returning to GLOW for this production of Rent! She is a junior at Clemson University where she recently played Sharon Atkins and various roles in Working, the Musical. She has had the joy of playing roles in many local and regional theatre productions; her favorites including Sarah in Jesus Christ Superstar with GLOW, Ensemble in Hairspray with Centre Stage, and Ida in Honk! with D2 Stageworks. She also enjoys sharing her love of theatre with younger students as she recently choreographed You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown at Travelers Rest High School. She hopes to use her degree in Elementary Education and Theatre minor to help encourage the next generation of theatre artists.

Kaitlyn Kowalski

Kaitlyn Kowalski | Ensemble
Kaitlyn Kowalski is thrilled to be making her professional debut with GLOW and to be back performing on the Gunter Stage. She attended Clemson University, where she pursued a degree in Pre-Professional Health Studies with a minor in theatre. In August, Kaitlyn will begin her first year in the South Carolina College of Pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina campus. Recent credits include: Working (Clemson University/”Theresa Liu” and others), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Clemson University/ “Marcy Park”), Cinderella (Alverson Centre Theatre/ “Cinderella”), Seussical the Musical (Project Challenge Playhouse/ “Gertrude McFuzz”). Kaitlyn would like to thank GLOW for this wonderful opportunity.

Tierney Breedlove

Tierney Breedlove | Ensemble
Known for her bubbly, charismatic nature, classically trained, soprano Tierney Sharnae Breedlove has played various roles from Shakespeare to musicals by Sondheim and William Finn as well as operas and oratorios from Puccini’s Suor Angelica to Handel’s Messiah. She has played Paulina in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Pearl Payne in Melanie Marnich’s These Shining Lives. She has also been in the World Premiere of Randall David Cook’s Pomp & Circumstance as Sofia. Tierney holds a B.A. in Music and Theatre Arts from Furman Univeristy.

Darius Gilliard

Darius Gilliard | Ensemble
Baritone Darius Gillard is a native of Anderson, SC and a recent graduate of Michigan State University. Throughout his years of study, he has performed several roles including Papageno (The Magic Flute), Jake (Porgy and Bess), Guglielmo (Cosi Fan Tutte), Fredrick (A Little Night Music), and most recently Marcello (La Boheme). He has also made appearances with the Charleston Chamber and Flint Symphony Orchestras as a featured soloist in their productions of Handel’s Messiah. While working as an apprentice with GLOW, he will also be preparing to reprise the role of Guglielmo with the Metro Opera Workshop of Detroit in September.

Ashley King

Ashley B King | Ensemble
Soprano Ashley King was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She has appeared in numerous Glow Lyric Theatre productions since 2010, most recently in Jesus Christ Superstar (2013), The Pirates of Penzance (2013), and Rock Opera (2012). She has also been a featured soloist for Glow at Artisphere performances since 2011. As a soprano, she has performed locally with the South Carolina Children’s Theatre, Spartanburg Repertory Company, Fountain Inn Chorale, and Greenville Chorale. King currently serves as the Director of Fine Arts at Shannon Forest Christian School in Greenville. She is the middle and high school choral director in addition to teaching AP Music Theory and Computer Science. She resides in Greer with her husband and two children (8 and 6) and is excited to welcome her third child this Christmas. King earned her Bachelor of Music (Music Ed) at the University of Georgia and Master of Music (Music Ed) at Converse College.
