Musical Theatre Summer Day Camp 2014
Rising 1st-9th Grade | Cost: $150
GLOW’s Day Camp is a great introduction to the world of musical theatre. Day campers will spend an entire week developing skills and learning techniques for singing, acting and dancing. Working with costume, set and prop designers, they will get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a musical production. This camp culminates in a short “show and tell” performance of the students’ work. Campers need to a snack and drink. One time registration fee ($30) due the first day of camp.
Musical Theatre Summer Performance Camp 2014
Rising 1st-9th Grade | Cost: $350
This camp experience includes:
● A week long day camp from July 14-18, 9:30am-2pm
● Three Nighttime/Weekend Staging rehearsals for La Boheme the week of July 19th-25th
● Three Dress Rehearsals for La Bohème on the evenings of July 28th, 29th, and 30th
● Four La Bohème Performances at The Peace Center Gunter Theatre
Performance Camp is for students wishing to immerse themselves in a fun and full performing experience. First, performance campers receive a week of training during day camp, where they will learn acting, singing and dancing technique. They will also work closely with technical designers, assisting them with building costumes and props. Finally, students get to show off their skills by performing as part of the cast in GLOW’s summer production of La Bohème! Each camper will take an exciting star turn on the stage of the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre!! This is an experience your young actor will never forget! Campers will need to bring lunch and a drink. One time registration fee ($30) due the first day of camp.
